Some BT phone lines down with these dialling codes 01244, 01745, 01829, 01352, 01824 are 'down'

All phone lines are back up and working.

1:00pm UPDATE:

BT have updated the estimated time the problem will be resolved to 5pm

11:30am UPDATE:

BT customers whose phone numbers use the 01244 01745, 01829, 01352, 01824 are being affected by a BT phone-line problem:

BT have added to the list of codes affected they say – “Chester, Abergele, Llanferres, Great Millington, Rhuddlan, Tattenhall, Saughall, Connahs Quay,Sealand, Chester North, Buckley, Huxley,Broxton, Llanarmon Yn Ial, Bunbury,Halkyn & Mold West  and the surrounding areas, which means that some of our customers will be having trouble with their telephone line. We’re trying to fix the problem as quickly as we can.”


 

BT customers whose phone numbers use the 01244 dialling code are being affected this morning by a BT phone line problem, the issue appears to be affecteing residents in Deeside, Buckley and many parts of Chester and its surrounding area BT say:

“We’re really sorry but we’ve got a problem at the moment in the Chester area, which means that some of our customers will be having trouble with their telephone line. We’re trying to fix the problem as quickly as we can.”

Issues with the lines began at around 5:30 this morning and current BT estimates say the issues will be fixed by noon today.
