BBC Radio 4 are looking for local people ideally in their twenties or thirties to take part in a Brexit debate on Wednesday 12th December.

Throughout December, Radio 4 audiences will be hearing the opinions of people in Britain’s border towns to find out about their hopes and fears over Brexit.

On December 12th, the team will be in Wrexham to hear from a live studio audience what’s on their minds as the Brexit deadline approaches.

The team says: “We’re looking for people in their twenties and thirties from both sides of the Wales/England border.

People from a wide range of backgrounds, with differing views on politics and on Brexit, who are willing to talk about their hopes and fears and how positive/negative they feel both about Britain leaving the EU and about the exit deal the UK negotiates.”

The debate is being held at Tŷ Pawb on 12th December, and doors are 6:30-7:15pm with the debate kicking off at 8pm to be recorded live.

As a bonus ‘there will be hot drinks and mince pies before the debate’.

Admission to the recording is on a first-come, first-served basis, and on a ticketed basis.

To apply for tickets you need to decide if you are attending as a Remain or Leave supporter to ensure a balance in the audience – once selected you can apply for a maximum of two tickets – further details and the application is on this BBC webpage.
