Anthea Turner appointed ambassador for Deeside care home
Crystal Care Collection has announced the appointment of television presenter and author Anthea Turner as an ambassador for the care home provider.
The group operates care homes across the UK, including Estuary Gardens in Deeside, offering residential, dementia and respite care under an all-inclusive fee structure.
In her ambassador role, Ms Turner will visit care homes within the group, meet residents and staff, and take part in campaigns linked to the organisation’s values around care, community and wellbeing.
Crystal Care Collection said the appointment is intended to raise awareness of what it describes as compassionate, person-centred care across its homes, including Estuary Gardens.
Ms Turner said: “I’m looking forward to working as an ambassador for Crystal Care Collection. Quality care is one of the most important pillars of later life, and a strong sense of community within a care home can transform lives.
“I hope to get to know the residents and team members and to witness first-hand the incredible care provided within each of their communities every day.”
