49 year old man arrested for ‘making threats to kill’ during attack on GoSafe speed camera van

A 49 year old man has been arrested for ‘making threats to kill’ during attack on GoSafe speed camera van near wrexham.

The man is alleged to have attacked the speed camera van in Rhosymedre earlier today.

Police say an individual is in custody after being arrested for criminal damage and making threats to kill.

The van was operating at the location following a request from the local community due to concerns about speeding.

Local reports say the vehicle was in place around 6:30am this morning however had left by 8am.

North Wales Police noted: “This is the second incident in 6 months involving a GoSafe van and operator. Abuse will not be tolerated.”
