Police make arrest following ‘fail to stop’ collision in Queensferry which saw pedestrian seriously injured

Police have said a man has been arrested following a collision in Queensferry on Saturday night which left another man seriously injured.  

The incident happened on Station Road, near to the Spar shop at around 9pm.

At the time police said the driver of a ‘medium sized vehicle – later described as a Silver Vauxhall Vectra – failed to stop following the collision. 

The road was closed for several hours while police investigated the incident.

In an update this morning, a spokesperson for North Wales Police has said: 

“A man has been arrested and released under investigation following the serious road traffic collision on Station Road in Queensferry on Saturday night.

The pedestrian sustained injuries, which fortunately are not life threatening, and inquiries are ongoing.”
