Police appeal for witnesses following serious crash in Bagillt that sees motorcyclist airlifted to hospital

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious crash between a car and motorcycle ton the A548 in Bagillt this morning Friday, December 2.

The motorcyclist who was airlifted to hospital with ‘potentially serious injuries’ following a crash.

The A548 was closed for several hours as emergency services dealt with the collision close to the junction with the A5026 by Lyons Den Fitness Bagillt.

A blue Yamaha collided with a Silver Astra collised at around 7.10am this morning, police put diversions into operation.

North Wales Road Police Unit later tweeted several pictures from scene of the crash including one showing positive drug swipe.

 

A Welsh Ambulance spokesman said;

“We were called at shortly after 7.10am to reports of a road traffic collision between a car and a motorcycle on the A548 in Bagillt.

“The Wales Air Ambulance and an emergency ambulance attended the scene and a man was airlifted to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd with potentially serious injuries”
