Witnesses sought following ‘altercation’ in Mynydd Isa

Police have issued an appeal for witnesses following a reported altercation involving a large group of youths in the Mynydd Isa area on Monday 16th September.

The incident took place at approximately 5.25 pm on Mercia Drive, near the junctions with Ellesmere Road and Ffordd Offa.

In a post shared by the local police team on social media, officers are asking anyone who may have been in the area at the time to come forward.

Police are particularly interested in speaking to individuals who may have witnessed the altercation or who were driving through the area and have dash cam footage.

“Were you in the area of Mercia Drive in Mynydd Isa close to the junctions with Ellesmere Road and Ffordd Offa at about 17.25 hours on 16th September?”

“Did you see an altercation or a large group of youths in the area? If so or if you were driving through and have any dash cam footage could you please get in touch via 101 quoting 24000801983” the statement from South Flintshire police team reads.
