Update: Police have said “Good news! The 2 Jack Russell pups have been recovered safe and well that we reported stolen yesterday As this enquiry is just on the Cheshire area we are unable to comment further Sadly despite extensive enquiries yesterday the 2 cocker spaniels are yet to be found.” ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

Monday’s report: Police have said criminals are seeing dog theft as “easy money” following another theft in Flintshire. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

Two six month old Jack Russell pups stolen have been reported from the Bretton on Sunday. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

North Wales Rural Crime Team tweeted: “These 2 Jack Russells (now 6 months old) stolen last night from Bretton.” ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

“Criminals are seeing dog theft as easy money now and they really don’t care about the devastation they cause to the families.” ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

“We are warning all dog owners. Please take care of your dog” ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​
