Mold Town Council launches free litter picking equipment loan scheme

News and Info from Deeside, Flintshire, North Wales

Mold Town Council is offering free loans of litter picking equipment to residents, schools, community groups and businesses across the town.

The scheme provides litter pickers, hi-vis vests, gloves and bags to anyone wanting to organise a clean-up event.

It is designed to support neighbourhood tidy-ups, school projects and workplace volunteering days.

A spokesperson for Mold Town Council said: “We are proud to support individuals and groups who are passionate about caring for our town. Litter-picking isn’t just limited to the annual Mold Spring Clean event – by making litter picking equipment readily available all year round, we hope to encourage even more people to get involved in helping keep Mold clean, welcoming and enjoyable for everyone.”

Equipment can be collected Monday to Friday from Mold Town Council’s office at 10 Daniel Owen Precinct, Mold.

Anyone wanting to arrange a loan can contact the council at [email protected].
