Knife seized in stop and search among fourteen Flintshire North arrests

A knife was seized during a stop and search in Flintshire North, leading to one of fourteen arrests made across the area in the space of 24 hours, North Wales Police say.
Officers logged 75 calls for service over the period, of which 15 were treated as priority zero, meaning police attended on lights and sirens.
Three people were arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary.
One person was arrested on a warrant.
One person was arrested for shoplifting, which activated a previous sentence, and they have been recalled to prison.
Other arrests included one for assaulting a police constable, one for harassment, one for drug driving, two for assault, one for criminal damage and one for arson.
The arrest for possession of an offensive weapon in a public place followed the knife seizure.
Police shared a photograph of the knife, held in an evidence bag, alongside the update.
The force said 38 incidents from the period had been passed over for a full write-up, with 11 recorded as crimes so far.
Force priorities recorded for the period were the five domestic crime incidents, no hate related incidents, and the aggravated burglary linked to the three people in custody.
Two anti-social behaviour incidents and five concern for safety incidents were also logged.
North Wales Police said stop and search remained an important tool for taking weapons and drugs off the streets.
