Three-week carriageway night closure planned near Airbus factory

News and Info from Deeside, Flintshire, North Wales

Carriageway resurfacing work is set to begin later this month on the A5104 Chester Road in Broughton.

The improvement scheme, due to start on Monday, 31 March, will take approximately three weeks to complete. It will cover the section of road between the roundabout near St Mary’s Church and the roundabout near Aldi, running alongside the Airbus factory.

To carry out the works safely, the road will be closed each night between 7pm and 5am. A signed diversion route will be in place during those hours.

Access to homes and local businesses will be maintained throughout the project, though short delays may be experienced by road users.

Flintshire County Council, working with its appointed contractor Tarmac Trading Ltd, has apologised in advance for any inconvenience caused during the essential maintenance.
