A brand new Craft Beer Expo has been announced; Chester Craft Beer Expo will take place at Storyhouse on Friday 15 and Saturday 16 March 2024.

Chester’s Craft Beer Expo is a collaborative effort between Storyhouse and That Beer Place, Chester’s well-known bottle shop and craft beer bar.

This collaborative event will take place in Storyhouse’s Garret Bar and Theatre, a venue combining cultural ambiance with a casual, welcoming atmosphere.

The Expo will showcase an array of breweries from across the UK, each chosen for their unique contributions to the craft beer world.

Visitors can anticipate a diverse range of beers, including choices for those who prefer wine, spirits, or cider.

The Chester Craft Beer Expo aims to be an immersive experience.

Attendees will get the chance to meet brewers from renowned breweries, engaging in conversations about their craft and the stories behind their brews.

The event will also feature ‘Speakers Corner’, where beer experts will share insights and discuss trending topics in the craft beer industry.

Complementing the beer selections, The Kitchen at Storyhouse will serve a range of street food-style dishes, expertly curated to pair with the craft beers.

Furthermore, each guest will receive a limited edition Chester Craft Beer Expo glass and a specially brewed craft beer can to take home. Exclusive merchandise will also be available for purchase.

Tommy Biglin from Storyhouse said, “We’re delighted to be partnering with That Beer Place for this unique event, bringing together some of the best craft beers for the community to enjoy. It’s about sharing good drinks and good times.”

“It’s not just about the beer—it’s the stories that pour with them.”

“We’re creating a laid-back weekend where breweries themselves serve you their hand-picked brews, each with its own tale.”

“Here, beer lovers and newbies unite over shared passions and great beer,” added Lisa Lord, Co-Founder of That Beer Place.

Brewery announcements will be made over the coming weeks.

Tickets for Chester Craft Beer Expo are on sale now from £17, book at storyhouse.com
