A ferret was seen wandering the streets of Shotton on Sunday night, he was discovered on Nelson street under a parked car.

An appeal to find the bewildered ferrets owner was launched on social media.

The ferret now known to be called Andy was seen late Sunday evening, however by the early hours of Monday morning regular twitterist @dizzyduck44 confirmed he was back in safe hands, she tweeted:

Its not known why he made a run for it, however given the time of his escape Britain’s Got Talent was on TV and this could have had something to do with his break for freedom.

More when we get it.
