Shotton Roadworks: 159 days and counting – but we may have found a solution

News and Info from Deeside, Flintshire, North Wales

The roadworks along the B5129 which are currently located at the Queensferry end of Chester Road East, are about to enter their 23rd week, some 7 weeks behind the scheduled finish date.

Many of us who face the abject misery of those daily lengthy queues may well be encouraged to know there is perhaps an alternative.

A jet bike! ok so not the most practical of transport modes, but with such slow progress it sure beats sitting in those queues.

The bike was invented by Lincolnshire plumber Colin Furze, he blogs about his garage inventions here – its well worth a look.
