Section of Connah’s Quay High Street will be closed until around 3pm today as police carry out investigation work

A section of Connah’s Quay High Street is closed this afternoon (Tuesday, February 2) while police carry out investigation work.

The road was closed at 1pm from Wepre Drive to the Mold Road turn, it will be shut until around 3pm.

Officers from North Wales Police will be carrying out investigation work related to a collision which happened late last year.

The investigation work was originally planned for last month but was postponed due to weather conditions.

Three people were left with serious injuries after a three car collision shortly before 9pm on Saturday, November 28.

The collision involved a black Vauxhall Zafira, a black Renault Clio and a white Peugeot 108.
