Revving up for even more success Flintshire based 'Pit Lane Reporter' sponsors BTCC car for season finale

To borrow Murray Walker’s immortal phrase – “Its Go Go Go Go” for Flintshire’s Pit Lane Reporter Magazine.

The Flint based Pit Lane team have secured an exclusive deal which will see the magazines name and logo’s splashed across a Rotek Racing Audi S3 driven by Tony Gilham at this years British Touring Car Championship Finale.

Gilham pictured below, will take over the wheels of Robb Hollands Audi S3 for the finale at Brands Hatch on the 11th and 12th October.

The final race of the season attracts tens of thousands of spectators and huge national and international television audiences, ITV will be covering the race weekend.

Sponsorship of a BTCC car in such a high profile race reflects the phenomenal growth of Pit Lane Reporter, 

Magazine Editor Phil Woods says,

“This is a great opportunity for both the magazine and Tony, we have always worked well together. All I will say to other drivers on the grid is, watch our for the PLR logo in your rear view mirrors, you will only get a few moments to see it before it passes you by. Everyone at Pit Lane Reporter believes in the talents of Tony Gilham and are looking forward to working closely with him as he aims to make this a weekend to remember”

The online Magazine celebrated a major new milestone recently when their August edition hit an amazing 100,000 downloads- an increase of 240% on the March launch edition.

The magazine recently moved to larger premises in Flint employing an additional five members of staff, taking the total to eighteen globally, they are now planning to launch a Spanish and Mandarin version of the magazine. 

Phil said,

He added,
