Some residents in Halkyn and Holywell are experiencing issues with their water supplies this morning.

A burst main in the region has caused disruption to the water supply, leading to low pressure and, in some cases, a total lack of water.

Welsh Water is making efforts to restore service as swiftly as possible, expecting a full resumption of the water supply by late morning.

A map on the Welsh Water website illustrates an area stretching from Rhosemor to Carmel and Gorsedd that has been impacted by the burst pipe.

Welsh Water’s website states:

“We’re aware of a burst on our network which is affecting the water supply to this area. Until the pipe is fixed, you may experience low pressure or no water. We expect all supplies to be fully restored by late morning.”
