South Flintshire Police are appealing for help in identifying the owner of a mountain bike found outside Mold Town Hall several weeks ago.

The bike, a red and white Cutlass CBR model, was left unattended at the town hall for approximately 3 to 4 weeks.

Officers recently collected the bicycle, which is now being held at Mold Police Station.

In a post shared on social media, the police highlighted the bike’s distinguishing feature—a non-standard seat—and requested that anyone claiming ownership either bring proof of ownership or be able to provide a description of the seat.

“If this is your bike, or you know who it belongs to, please contact us or visit Mold Police Station with the necessary information,” the post read.

The police hope to return the bike to its rightful owner soon and have encouraged members of the public to come forward if they have any relevant information.

For those in the area who may have lost a similar bike, the officers stress the importance of bringing sufficient evidence to verify ownership.
