UPDATE:Police confirm body of missing Deeside man found in Shotton

Police searching for pensioner Robert Dykins, 75, missing from his home Shotton since yesterday morning , have found  a body in woodland near Shotton railway station. 

Formal identification will take place in due course. 

The death is not being treated as suspicious  and  family members have been informed .The  North East Wales coroner  will also be notified. Mr Dykins family would like to thank the public for their help in trying to trace him.

Police became concerned for Mr Dykins welfare after he went missing from his home address on Shotton Lane in Shotton
