Police called to an incident at Broughton Retail Park earlier this afternoon

There are reports of a large police presence this afternoon at Broughton Retail Park.

Police have said they received a report that person was shoplifting, the incident is believed to have happened at the New Look store.

A spokesperson said “We had concern for woman’s safety has she was threatening to self-harm. She has now been arrested.”
