Police appeal for information following an aggravated burglary in Deeside

Police are appealing for information following the report of an aggravated burglary in Deeside overnight.

The incident occurred just before 4 am at a property on Chevrons Road in Shotton.

Aggravated burglary is a serious crime. It involves a break-in, with an additional element of threat or harm.

Police have not yet released details regarding the specifics of the incident, such as whether any individuals were harmed or what was stolen.

Officers are particularly interested in speaking to anyone who may have witnessed the incident. They are also seeking information that could aid in the investigation.

PCSO Owen Prentice from the North Flintshire Neighbourhood police team has issued a public appeal for assistance.

He said, “We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward with any information.”

“As well as this, we are also appealing for anyone who owns CCTV near the area of Chevrons Road. If it has captured anything that could aid North Wales Police, please contact us.”

Sgt Dave Smith: “Working closely with CID, our team have today completed house to house and CCTV enquiries as part of the investigation.”

“After providing the victim with advice on how they can strengthen security at their home, officers also visited surrounding homes with crime prevention packs.”

We will also be increasing patrols in the area.
