The first match of The Nomads Europa League Play Off games has been confirmed following the conclusion of the FAW Welsh Cup.

The New Saints 2-0 victory over Newtown, means Airbus have automatically qualified for the Europa League, Rhyl’s hopes of entering the play-offs have ended.

The result also means that Port Talbot Town will host FAW Cup Runners Up, Newtown on Saturday 10th May, while The Nomads will make the trip to Park Avenue to face Aberystwyth Town on Sunday 10th May.

The game will be televised, live on S4C with a 12:45pm kick off.

It will be the second time The Nomads have entered the Welsh Premier League’s Europa League play-offs, and will no doubt be hoping for better fortune than the previous entry in the 2012-13 season which saw hopes ended at the hands of Bala Town who defeated The Nomads 1-0.

The Nomads will be taking a coach to Park Avenue, so anyone interested in travelling on the coach should contact Supporters Liaison Officer, Will Catterall, by emailing [email protected] or by calling 07938 160578.
