Nine year old boy hit by car in Connah’s Quay

A nine year old boy was taken to hospital this afternoon with injuries described as ‘non life threatening’ following a collision with a car on Llwyni Drive, Connah’s Quay.

Police closed off Llwyni Drive in Connah’s Quay while paramedics and a BASICS doctor attended the scene.

A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said:

“We were called at 4.04pm today, Monday March 31, to reports of a road traffic collision on Llwyni Drive, Connah’s Quay, involving a car and a child. A paramedic in a rapid response vehicle attended, and was supported by a BASICS doctor and an emergency ambulance. A boy with non-life threatening injuries was taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital.”
