Mars Wrigley UK has announced the recall of various Revels chocolate products.

This recall, effective as of 1 December 2023, is due to the potential presence of small pieces of rubber in the products, making them unsafe for consumption.

The recall specifically targets the ‘Revels More to Share’ pack of 205g, ‘Revels Pouch’ of 112g, and ‘Revels Treat Bag’ (price marked pack) of 71g.

These products have been identified with specific batch codes, including 344G2SLO00, 345B1SLO00, and several others, with best-before dates ranging from 27 October 2024 to 10 November 2024.

The Food Standards Agency has highlighted the risk associated with these products, stating that the presence of rubber pieces could pose a choking hazard or other safety risks to consumers.

This alert is particularly concerning given the widespread popularity of these chocolate treats.

In response to this issue, Mars Wrigley UK has taken proactive steps by recalling the affected products from customers.

The Food Standards Agency advises consumers who have purchased any of the listed products to refrain from eating them. Instead, they are encouraged to keep the product and contact the Mars Wrigley Consumer Care team for a refund.

The company has provided a freephone telephone number (0800 952 0084), an email contact (www.mars.co.uk/contactus), and a freepost address (FREEPOST MARS WRIGLEY CONFECTIONERY UK LTD) for this purpose.
