Man airlifted to Stoke hospital

A man was airlifted to hospital yesterday following an incident in the Halkyn area. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

Emergency services were called to the incident, which took place just after 4pm. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

An update provided by the Welsh Ambulance Service today, states: “We were called at approximately 4.05pm yesterday afternoon (Thursday 22 March) to reports that a cyclist had come off their bike in Halkyn, Flintshire. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

“We sent a Wales Air Ambulance and a man was airlifted to the Royal Stoke University Hospital.” ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​
