Latest Police Appeals – Incident's in Queensferry, Saltney, Shotton and Connah's Quay

Reports of a Distraction Burglary on Wednesday morning in Dundas Street, Queensferry. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

Police say a male gained entry to a house by speaking to the occupant about guttering and was allowed inside,the resident later found their purse had been stolen.  ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

The man is described as White, Tall and Dark with a Moustache. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

North Wales Police are asking the public for help identifying a cold caller in the ‘Saltney’ area Monday 29th September at around 1pm. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

Following an incident in the Larch way area of Saltney, Police are seeking information about a male described as being 5ft 10 inches tall, around 40 years old, dark short hair approximately 2-3 inches in length, normal build, wearing a grey suit jacket ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

If you saw anything suspicious, or have any information relating to the incident or person please contact North Wales Police on 101 quoting reference R154596 ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

The Police are also reminding residents not to let anyone into their property without checking first with the organisation, or service provider, that they claim to be from. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

Also, remember identity cards may not be genuine. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

Contact the Organisation or service provider to check using a telephone number obtained from a trusted source, not from a number provided by the caller. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​
