Latest petrol prices in and around Deeside show ASDA is by far the cheapest

ASDA petrol continues to be the cheapest in Deeside with prices now down to £112.7p per litre 

Asda petrol hit a high as 126.7p a litre in late September however it has dropped back by 14p a litre in three months.

World oil prices continued fall away sharply, benchmark Brent Crude fell to below $61.20 a barrel yesterday – the lowest level since July 2009.

Asda have committed to passing wholesale savings onto the customers forcing the big petrol companies such as Esso to follow suit as well as the other supermarkets chains.

Andy Peake, Asda’s petrol trading director, said:

‘We know how important it is to pass savings back into motorists’ pockets as soon as oil prices fall, which is why this is our 10th price cut since September.’
