Hope House and Tŷ Gobaith children’s hospices is encouraging local companies to go for gold and sign-up as one of their Business Champions for 2023.

Business Champions across the area have raised an incredible £125,000 over the last three years.

For a business to become a Hope House & Tŷ Gobaith Champion, the hospices are asking them to make a donation of £1,102 – or the cost of providing one week of specialist paediatric care nursing.

A hands-on nurse can provide the personal and pastoral care that is needed by families in your local area that are facing a life less ordinary – a life where every second is precious.

The initiative offers firms bronze Business Champion status for their first donation and an opportunity then exists to elevate themselves to silver and gold over the next two years.

Businesses will receive a special Business Champion logo to display on their website, stationary and publicity, a framed certificate, as well as newsletters and communications specifically designed for our Business Champion community.

Regularly supported by generous local businesses, including Clogau and Net World Sports, the Business Champions initiative is an excellent way to support local children and their families, raise the profile of your business and be associated with like-minded firms.

Fundraising Team Leader for Hope House & Tŷ Gobaith, Sarah Ritchie said: “We cannot exist without the knowledge and expertise of our dedicated hospice staff.

“Quite simply, a nurse is the best piece of equipment you can buy.

“Above all, becoming a Champion is an opportunity to be part of an incredible network of like-minded organisations, who have chosen to stand with us in our mission to ensure that no one faces the death of a child alone.”
