Residents across North Wales are being invited to book a place at an online public surgery with the region’s Police and Crime Commissioner.

Andy Dunbobbin and representatives from North Wales Police will host the event via Microsoft Teams on 18 March 2026 from 6pm to 8pm.

The session forms part of the Commissioner’s work to engage with communities across the region and will allow residents to raise concerns or discuss policing issues directly.

Those attending will be allocated a 20-minute appointment with the Commissioner, who will be joined by staff from his office and officers from North Wales Police.

Conversations will remain confidential and, where appropriate, residents may be signposted to other agencies or organisations.

Mr Dunbobbin said: “I would urge residents of North Wales to book a slot at my upcoming online surgery with North Wales Police. I always aim to listen closely to what residents are telling me, and the online surgery is a great way for residents of North Wales to voice their concerns. This creative approach showcases our dedication to accessibility and our ability to adapt in delivering the needs of the people in North Wales.”

The Police and Crime Commissioner’s responsibilities include setting policing priorities, deciding the budget for North Wales Police, listening and responding to the public’s views on policing, and holding the Chief Constable to account.

Appointments are required in advance to ensure issues relate to policing, crime or community safety, and to allow the Commissioner to be briefed before the meeting.

The Commissioner cannot intervene directly in operational policing matters and cannot consider complaints about police officers or staff, which must be handled through established complaints procedures.

Residents who wish to book a 20-minute slot are asked to contact the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner by email at [email protected], by phone on 01492 805486, or by post to Police Headquarters, Glan y Don, Colwyn Bay, LL29 8AW.

Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. If a session becomes full, residents will be offered details of alternative dates.
