Latest Ambulance service performance figures for December show Flintshire missing the 8 minute target response time for life threatening calls in December.

These figures represent the worst performance for the Ambulance service in Flintshire since the 8 minute target time data was reclassified in 2011

December saw just 48% of Ambulances arrive on the scene of what are classed ‘category A’ incidents, those deemed to be life threatening, 365 out of the 633 category A calls received an emergency response within the 8 minutes of the 65% target time set by NHS Wales, an decrease on November figures by 9.2% and 4.7% worse than December 2012.

Neighbouring Wrexham 72% and Conwy  71.8%  and Denbighshire 66.7% were the top performers in Wales for December 2013.
