Eat and Drink in Connah’s Quay

Where to eat and drink in Connah’s Quay, from high-street pubs to riverside cafés and the independents worth a short detour.

Connah’s Quay is a town that eats locally. The food and drink here is spread along the High Street and the main roads rather than gathered into one centre, and it leans towards the unfussy: traditional pubs, family-run takeaways, a café at Wepre Park for walkers, and a handful of independents that have built a following without a chain in sight.

For a sit-down meal you have a choice of established pubs serving food, alongside Indian, Chinese and chip-shop takeaways scattered across the town’s neighbourhoods. For something lighter, the cafés cover everything from a coffee and a cake after a walk to a proper breakfast. And for a bigger night out, Chester is six miles east and the wider Deeside towns are minutes away.

The places featured below are businesses in and around Connah’s Quay. Each sponsored listing is provided by the venue. If you run a food or drink business in the town and want to appear here, see the foot of this page.
