Dates Confirmed for Mold’s NovemberFest 2024

News and Info from Deeside, Flintshire, North Wales

Mold’s much-anticipated NovemberFest is returning this year, with dates confirmed for Friday 8th and Saturday 9th November 2024.

Held at The Pod on King Street (formerly St. Mary’s Church Hall), this two-day celebration of top-quality cask ales, keg ales, and ciders will feature up to 30 different varieties for attendees to sample, along with live music and street food.

Four sessions will be held across the weekend, kicking off on Friday afternoon at 12:30 p.m. with a relaxed “drinkers’ session” where guests can enjoy the ales in a convivial atmosphere.

This year’s festival will also include a new beer tasting event led by a CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) expert, offering attendees the chance to learn about beer judging and tasting. Spaces are limited, so early booking is recommended.

Friday evening will bring live music from local band The C90’s, while Saturday’s sessions will feature performances from CanCan in the afternoon and The Factory Hens in the evening.

Throughout the weekend, festivalgoers can enjoy street food from Dream Poutine, who will serve their signature loaded fries.

Wine and other drink options will also be available for those less inclined to sample the ales and ciders.

Event organisers, a team of local volunteers in partnership with Mold Town Council and the local CAMRA branch, are excited to bring the 12th edition of NovemberFest to life.

Last year’s evening sessions sold out in advance, and this year’s tickets—capped at 180 per session—are expected to be in high demand once they go on sale in the coming weeks.

NovemberFest has become a key event in Mold’s calendar, raising over £30,000 to support local community initiatives like Mold Carnival and festive celebrations.
