Police have raided properties in North Flintshire including at least one in Connah’s Quay following information from the public about drug dealing in the area.

Officers from North Flintshire Police team executed several warrants today, Friday December 4.

Police Dog Buddy was on hand to sniff out drugs, officers say they found cash, powder and cannabis, weapons and counterfeit goods.

In a Christmas themed message a spokesperson for the North Flintshire Police team said:

Sadly not everyone is going to make this years nice list! We have been busy today with the assistance of PD Buddy

Here are some Police themed pictures of advent calendar doors being opened and goodies behind them!”

Local Inspector Gareth Cust says:

“Today we have executed a number of drugs warrants across North Flintshire and have recovered numerous items including cash, powder and cannabis, weapons and possibly stolen or counterfeit goods.

All of the information we used to apply for the warrants have come from you; the community. It shows that people will not tolerate drugs and other crime that affects their quality of life.

Any information passed to Police is confidential and helps us decide who we should visit next!”

Like most crime, police depend heavily on ‘community intelligence’ to catch drug dealers.
