Coleg Cambria to hold a series of events this week for prospective students

Coleg Cambria will be opening its doors to prospective students over the coming week by holding a series of Open Events across all sites.

The Open Events will offer an exciting opportunity to explore the outstanding facilities as well as attend workshops and demonstrations of courses on offer. Potential learners who pre-register their place online at www.cambriaold.ac.uk will be in with a chance of winning an iPad mini 4 (T&C’s apply).

New for this year is the Apprenticeship Zone at Deeside, Yale and Bersham where local employers and experts will be on hand to give information on career and work-based learning opportunities available to people in the area.

The College’s new Principal Sue Price will be presenting ‘Welcome Talks’ throughout the events and will be offering a Q&A session after the presentation.

DJ Ben Sheppard from Capital FM with be live in reception areas at selected sites and visitors will be encouraged to get involved in the snapchat and Instagram competitions to win £20 amazon vouchers throughout the events.

Current Coleg Cambria students will also be on hand to show visitors around the college’s six sites as well as offering a useful insight into college life.

Opening times for each site are as follows:

DEESIDE and DEESIDE SIXTH FORM CENTRE / WEDNESDAY 9TH November / 5.00PM – 8.00PM

YALE and BERSHAM ROAD / THURSDAY 10TH November / 5.00PM – 8.00PM

LLYSFASI and NORTHOP SATURDAY 12TH November / 11.00AM – 2.00PM
