Chester: Turtle Bay Caribbean restaurant hiring 55 staff ahead of October launch
Turtle Bay Chester has revealed its official opening date, confirming that the Caribbean-inspired restaurant will welcome its first guests on Thursday, 24th October.
The new venue, located at Chester Northgate, marks Turtle Bay’s debut in Cheshire and promises to bring a vibrant mix of rum, reggae, and jerk cuisine to the city.
The restaurant and bar are set to create 55 jobs, with two recruitment days scheduled for next week.
Turtle Bay is searching for hospitality professionals to join the team, with positions ranging from wait staff and bartenders to chefs.
The full- and part-time roles will give new hires the chance to be part of a people-focused business, known for its supportive work culture.

Turtle Bay is known for its laid-back Caribbean atmosphere and a diverse menu featuring signature dishes like Jerk Chicken, Curry Goat, and the Shack Stack Burger.
There’s also a wide selection of small plates such as Crispy Chilli Squid, Trini Doubles, and Mac & Cheese Bites. On the drinks menu, Turtle Bay’s famous cocktails, including the Rum Sour, Beach Zombie, and Rude Boy Revival, are set to become local favourites.
To kick off its recruitment drive, Turtle Bay will host open days for prospective staff at the Crowne Plaza, Trinity Street, Chester, on 25th and 26th September, offering a chance to learn more about the roles available.
