Riverbank Post Office, located on Bagillt Road, Bagillt, will close temporarily for extensive refurbishment work starting on Friday, 4 October. The branch is scheduled to reopen on Monday, 21 October at 9am.

The closure is necessary to allow for building work at the premises, which Post Office officials say is essential for maintaining a safe and improved service.

Carol Williams, Post Office Network Provision Lead, emphasised the importance of customer safety during the project. “We apologise for any inconvenience caused to our customers during the refurbishment work. The safety of our customers is paramount, therefore, to allow for the building work to take place, it is necessary for the service to close temporarily,” she said.

During the closure, customers are advised to use alternative branches. Nearby options include Bagillt Post Office on High Street, Holywell Post Office on 50 High Street, and Flint Post Office on Church Street.

For further information on services or updates, residents are encouraged to check the Post Office website or visit one of the nearby branches.

The Post Office said it ‘apologises for the disruption and looks forward to welcoming customers back to an improved facility later this month.’
