Appeal after stolen items found in Holywell property

North Wales Police have issued an appeal to residents in Holywell and Greenfield after recovering a range of suspected stolen items from a local property.
Officers say the recovery follows reports of thefts in the area over recent months. A number of items have already been reunited with their owners, but police are still working to identify the rightful owners of others.
In a message to residents, PC Dave Hesketh of North Flintshire’s Neighbourhood Policing Team said:
“As part of an on-going investigation, North Wales Police have successfully recovered what are believed to be a number of stolen items from a property address in the local area. A number of items have already been reunited with their owners, but there are a number of items which we are unable to positively attribute to a reported theft.”
The force is now urging anyone who may have been a victim of theft, whether reported or not, to review the list of recovered items.
“We would like to hear from you if you feel that any of the items may belong to you,” PC Hesketh said. “To ensure the items are returned to their correct owners, we will require proof in support of any claims to the items. This could be in the form of a proof of purchase, photographs, distinguishing marks, damage, modifications or serial numbers.”
