Air Ambulance attends incident in Bagillt

A person has been flown to Aintree Hospital in Liverpool this morning following an incident in Bagillt.

Emergency services including two Emergency Ambulances and several police vehicles were spotted on Sevenacre Close in Bagillt at 8.45am.

A spokesman for the Welsh Ambulance Service said:

“We received a call at 8:45am today to an incident on Sevenacre Close, Bagillt. We responded with an Air Ambulance Emergency car, an Air Ambulance and two Emergency Ambulances.

One patient has been transported by air to Aintree University Hospital, Liverpool.”

Police have not commented as to the nature of the incident.


Wales Air Ambulance is an all Wales charity providing emergency air cover for those who face life-threatening life illness or injuries.

The charity needs to raise £6.5 million every year to operate the service.

The charity raises all the funds required for the day-to-day running of missions, with each mission on average costing £1500.
