A55 RTC at Northop all lanes back open traffic still slow

All lanes are back open following an accident on the A55 near Northop. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

Three vehicles were believed to be involved on the Wales bound carriageway, near to J33 (A5119) Northop Road. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

Traffic is backing up along the A494 to Sealand Road. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

Initially, the road was fully blocked, but highways and emergency services have managed to open all lanes. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

There were delays reported on the eastbound carriageway as drivers slowed to look at the accident. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​
