Police urge vigilance following increase in thefts from vehicles in Hawarden and Ewloe

North Wales Police have warned people in Hawarden and Ewloe to be extra vigilant after a number of vehicles which contained property inside were targeted.

There has been an increase in reports of thefts from vehicles in those areas and police are asking owners not to leave items in their vehicles.

A post on the forces South Flintshire Facebook page states: ‘We have had an increase in reports around the Hawarden and Ewloe area of vehicles being targeted for property inside.

We ask members of the public to be extra vigilant in making sure their vehicles are locked and all valuables removed from them when they are unattended.

If you see anything suspicious please phone our control room on 101 or if anything is ongoing 999.”
