On a weekend where many football fans up and down the country were celebrating non league and grass root football in recognition of this years ‘Non League Day‘ with proud volunteers sharing thousands of pictures on social media of their clubs and grounds, local ‘youths’ in Hawarden decided to mindlessly vandalise the goalposts on Gladstone Fields.

A picture tweeted on Sunday evening by Hawarden Rangers FC reserve team coach Ian Anglesea showed the extent of the damage caused.

If anybody has any information with regards to the vandalism, were fairly sure the Police will be interested, call them on 101
