Three vehicle RTC on Sealand Road near to the Saughall turn off

Police and the Welsh Ambulance service were called to the scene of a three vehicle collision at the junction of Sealand Road and Old Sealand Road, the Saughall turn off.

Unconfirmed reports say a Rangerover and a Tesco delivery van have been involved in the collision along with another unspecified car

Sealand Road has been partially blocked by the accident.

Police advised motorists to avoid the area while they dealt with the incident, its also believed the traffic lights at the junction have been damaged by the accident.

Welsh Ambulance Service Spokesperson said:

“We were called at 11.58am to a two-vehicle road traffic collision on Sealand Road in Chester.

We sent an emergency ambulance to the scene, and a man was taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital.”
