There are reports that a number of homes in Deeside are without water.

A water main has burst near to Asda in Queensferry.

Welsh Water has said households in an area stretching from Pippins close in Shotton through to Sandycroft may experience low water pressure or no water supply.

A statement on Welsh Water’s website states:

“We’re aware of a burst on our network which is affecting the Water Supply to this area.”

“Until the pipe is fixed, you may experience low pressure or no water.”

“We expect all supplies to be fully restored by later this afternoon.”

“Further updates will be provided here when we have more information.”

“We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
