Man to appear in court following spate of thefts from vehicles in Connah’s Quay

A man will appear before Magistrates on Monday after being charged with 13 theft related offences. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

The man was arrested following a spate of alleged thefts from vehicles in Connah’s Quay on Friday evening. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

Police say a number of vehicles around Richmond Road and Wepre Drive areas had property removed from them. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

Officers launched an appeal for residents living close by to check CCTV footage for images of a male acting suspiciously. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

They have thanked local residents for their assistance. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

Posting on the North Flintshire Police Team Facebook spokesperson issued an update saying: ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

“Following on from our appeal yesterday in relation to thefts from motor vehicles in the Connah’s Quay area, we would like to thank residents for their assistance.” ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

“A male has been charged with 13 offences, has been remanded in police custody and will appear in court on Monday.” ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​
