Man to appear in court following spate of thefts from vehicles in Connah’s Quay

A man will appear before Magistrates on Monday after being charged with 13 theft related offences.

The man was arrested following a spate of alleged thefts from vehicles in Connah’s Quay on Friday evening.

Police say a number of vehicles around Richmond Road and Wepre Drive areas had property removed from them.

Officers launched an appeal for residents living close by to check CCTV footage for images of a male acting suspiciously.

They have thanked local residents for their assistance.

Posting on the North Flintshire Police Team Facebook spokesperson issued an update saying:

“Following on from our appeal yesterday in relation to thefts from motor vehicles in the Connah’s Quay area, we would like to thank residents for their assistance.”

“A male has been charged with 13 offences, has been remanded in police custody and will appear in court on Monday.”
