Man arrested after being seen ‘acting strangely’ on the blue footbridge in Queensferry

Police arrested a man on Saturday who was seen on the footbridge by the Rainbow Hospital in Queensferry ‘acting strangely’. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

It’s alleged he shouting and swearing at members of the public whilst on the blue bridge which straddles Chester Road East. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

Police say he is due before Magistrates after being charged for being Drunk and Disorderly. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

A spokesperson from North Flintshire Police said: ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

“On Saturday you may recall a male acting strangely on the foot bridge by the Rainbow Hospital.” ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

“He was shouting and swearing at passing members of the public.’ ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

“He was arrested and has since been charged and is due to appear at court for being Drunk and Disorderly.” ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​
