A joint operation in Buckley involving Trading Standards and Immigration Enforcement has resulted in significant seizures of illegal goods and one arrest.

The operation, carried out Tuesday, targeted the sale of illegal tobacco and vape products in the area.

Officers conducted searches at multiple locations, uncovering illegal tobacco and oversized vapes at one site, while additional illegal tobacco was discovered hidden in a second shop.

During the raids, £5,000 in cash was confiscated under the Proceeds of Crime Act.

South Flintshire Police have confirmed that a forfeiture application will be submitted to the courts.

Additionally, handbags suspected of infringing trademark laws were also seized.

A male was arrested by Immigration Enforcement during the operation.

The seizures are part of ongoing efforts to clamp down on illegal trading practices in the region.
