Flint Coastguard called out as part of multi agency land and sea search for missing Stephen Chilton
Coastguard rescue officer were called out this morning, Saturday 22rd November to assist in a multi agency land and sea search for missing Stephen Chilton
Police are concerned for 38 year old Mr Chilton who was last seen at midnight on Thursday evening, 20thNovember.
It is believed Stephen could be in the Llandudno area and a search is underway to locate him.
He is described as being 6’3” with dark hair and stubble on his face.
Chief Inspector Simon Barrasford from North Wales Police said;
“The multi agency search which began yesterday continues today with teams from the RNLI, mountain rescue, police and coastguard out in the area also conducting enquiries with the public. I would urge anyone who may have seen Stephen to contact North Wales Police immediately on 101.”
Holyhead Maritime Rescue Co-ordination Centre sent out a request to Flint Coastguard for extra man power in the ongoing search.
Once on scene Flint Coastguard Rescue Officers were tasked to do a shoreline search from the Rainbow Bridge to Rhos On Sea, no signs of Stephen were found, the team were stood down and returned to station 5 hours later.
UPDATE: The search has now been called off however Mr Chilton is still missing.
