Firefighters tackle blaze at an industrial unit in Shotton

Firefighters have been tackling a blaze at an industrial unit in Shotton. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

Three appliances, two from Deeside and one from Buckley are at the scene of the fire on Evans Way, behind the retail park. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

A large plume of black smoke could be seen rising from the area, that has since died down. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

Phil sent this video which shows the fire taking hold in the roof, it was taken at around 1.50pm. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

He said the fire appears to be “all under control.” ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​
