News and Info from Deeside, Flintshire, North Wales

Ewloe-based housebuilder Anwyl Homes has named Laura Jones as its new Head of Digital Marketing, reflecting the company’s growing emphasis on digital innovation and online engagement.

Laura, who hails from Connah’s Quay, steps into the role with a wealth of experience.

She has been part of Anwyl’s marketing team for four years, working across the company’s Cheshire, North Wales, and Lancashire operations.

She now leads the business’s digital campaigns and aims to enhance its online homebuying experience.

“It’s an exciting role as digital marketing is an ever-changing field – whether it’s a TikTok trend or a new platform to explore, there’s something new every day,” said Laura.

“Our aim is to become a leader in online marketing for our industry and beyond. I’m looking forward to seeing what 2025 will bring to the world of digital.”

Laura graduated with a first-class degree in multimedia journalism from Manchester Metropolitan University and began her career with a luxury travel company.

She joined Anwyl in 2019, initially supporting its Partnerships division, before moving into digital marketing. In 2024, she played a key role in launching Anwyl’s new user-friendly website, which received glowing feedback from customers.

“As head of department, I’m now working more widely across the business to align our digital presence and processes,” Laura explained.

“I’ve recently completed the company’s LEAD (Leadership Excellence and Development) course to build my leadership and management skills with a view to growing our digital team.”

Such is her belief in the company’s values, Laura recently became a homeowner herself, purchasing an Anwyl property.

She said: “Anwyl is a family business to the core; everything feels personal – the detail in our product, the interactions with our team, and the feeling that we don’t just build houses for our customers, we build homes.

That’s why we call ourselves ‘the family homebuilder.’”
