Artisan market returns to Mold town square this Sunday

The Sunday Gathering Artisan Market returns to Mold this weekend, taking place in Daniel Owen Square on Sunday 31 August from 10am until 2pm.
The monthly market, held on the last Sunday of each month from March to October, features more than 27 artisan stalls alongside live entertainment, a fun dog show and a display of vintage cars.
Visitors can expect a wide variety of food and craft stalls, including pies, Indian snacks, olives, chutneys, jams, honey, cheeses and locally brewed beers. Hafod Brewery and K&G Chocolates, both based in Mold, will be among the local businesses taking part. Craft, gift and jewellery stalls will also showcase handmade goods.
Live music will come from young singer Mali Sigsworth, performing between 11am and 1pm.
North Clwyd Animal Rescue will host a fun dog show on Meadow Place, with categories including happiest or waggiest dog, best rescue, most gorgeous girl and most handsome boy. Entry is £2 on the day, with the show starting at 11am.
Also on Meadow Place, classic and vintage cars will be on display. Owners wishing to take part are invited to arrive from 10am without booking.
Meadow Place Car Park, next to the Daniel Owen Centre, will be closed to public parking during the market. All other Mold car parks remain open and free on Sundays.
The Sunday Gathering CIC, which organises the market as a non-profit community interest company, says any surplus from trading goes directly back into local improvement projects in partnership with Mold Town Council.
Future markets are scheduled for 28 September and 26 October, with applications open for stallholders, performers and exhibitors.
